Accessibility
Elder Law Prep is committed to making its educational attorney-prep guide usable by people with disabilities. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our engineering target and treat accessibility as ongoing product work.
Current accessibility support
- Keyboard navigation, visible focus, and a skip link to the main content.
- Semantic page landmarks, headings, labels, status messages, alerts, and mobile tab behavior.
- Responsive layouts designed for mobile screens, browser zoom, and 320-pixel reflow.
- Reduced-motion support for people who prefer less animation.
- A semantic online attorney-prep report as the primary report format.
How we test
- Automated WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA checks across every public page at desktop and mobile sizes.
- Keyboard, focus, target-size, heading-order, horizontal-overflow, and report-state regression tests.
- Manual keyboard, zoom, reflow, and screen-reader review before major releases and after major redesigns.
Automated checks cannot find every accessibility barrier. Assistive-technology and real-user feedback remain important parts of evaluating the site.
Known limitations
The semantic online report is the primary accessible report format. The optional downloadable PDF has not yet been verified as a tagged document for assistive technology. Use the online report when an accessible reading format is needed.
Some security and verification experiences are supplied by third parties. If a verification step prevents you from using the guide, contact us so we can review the barrier and help identify another way to access the educational information.
Report an accessibility problem
Email us with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser, device, or assistive technology involved if you are comfortable sharing it. Do not include private medical, financial, account, or family-planning details.
